Debut EP from Alan Brooks vibes with a relaxed acoustic feel through shades of Pop, R&B, and Soul."I am a Cleveland native, transplanted in Chicago for the moment. After finding an old dusty guitar tucked behind a toolbox, paint cans, and a litany of other random materials in the corner of my parents basement storage room I started playing music at the age of twelve. Now that I've grown up a little bit I want to communicate in a groove writing songs with depth and fun, allowing the listener to see life from my perspective. I have tried to incorporate a pinch of this and a tad of that in my Pop, R&B, Folk sort of style. I want the listener to connect the dots during a song, following along with how the lyrics and music work together to make different pictures and scenes that I’ve experienced and imagined over the years while writing."
