The bedroom tapes are a compilation of songs recorded from the various bedrooms of singer songwriter Eugene Gallagher. Dubbed anti-folk for 2013, these songs range from fleshed out tracks layered with guitars, vocals, and anything else one can imagine is in a musicians bedroom, to songs as sparse as guitar and vocals recorded with one microphone hanging from a ceiling. Conversational lyrics, haunting melodies and Gallagher’s unique vocals keep the album fresh and listener engaged throughout all of its 14 songs.
