In 2003 something unique happened at Lexington Center in upstate New York. Eleven people who happen to have autism, Down Syndrome, mental retardation, blindness and other developmental and/or physical disabilities formed the soft rock band FLAME. Since then, FLAME, Playing over 100 songs from Pink Floyd to Gershwin, has had hundreds of paid performances throughout the Northeast and beyond. FLAME's great music entertains and inspires everyone as it sends a message of hope and endless possibilities.
