Yulia Miloslavskaya belongs to the younger generation of up and coming pianists. As a student at the Moscow Conservatory and the Zurich University of the Arts she has already shown herself to be a player of presence and individuality.Yulia was born to a musical family, showing great interest in music from her earliest years. Upon graduating from music high school in 2004 she entered the Moscow Conservatory where her professors included the notable pianists Naum Shtarkman and Ruvim Ostrovsky. Resident in Switzerland since 2010, she continued her musical education as a student of Konstantin Scherbakov and Peter Solomon.Her extensive repertoire and outstanding skills have won her prizes and acclaim at several renowned international competitions (like International Adilia Alieva Competition in Gaillard, France; Jean Francaix International Competition, Paris; Kiwanis Competition and Landolt Competition,Zürich; Kiefer Hablitzel Competition, Bern; IBLA-Competition, Ragusa Ibla, Italy; Concours musical de France, Paris) and festivals (like Herbst in der Helferei, Musiksommer am Zürichsee, Pro Nota-Konzerte Nordhorn, Rainbow 21 im Suntory Hall Tokyo, Zürcher Festspiele, BSI Festival Engadin and Menuhin Festival in Gstaad). She was also awarded scholarships by the Marguerite Meister and Rahn Foundations in Zürich.Her pianistic activities are not confined to solo performance: she also plays in various ensembles, duets, trios and other musical groups. She performed together with Konstantin Scherbakov (piano), Alexander Rudin (cello), Emanuel Ax (piano), Kristján Jóhannsson (Tenor), Ilya Gringolts (Violin), Stefan Tarara (violin). As a concerto soloist she played with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra (Germany), Kazan ‘Romantic’ Orchestra (Russia), Orchestra der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.As an orchestra pianist she performed under such conductors as David Zinman,Karl-Heinz Steffens, Manfred Honeck, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Marc Kissoczy, Pierre-André Valade, Lionel Bringuier.
