The GW Sirens were established in 2002, when a small group of music-passionate girls came together to create something different. Wanting to enchant audiences with song the way ancient Greek sirens used to seduce sailors with their voices, the ladies picked a name and off they went. Now more than a decade later, the GW Sirens is a premiere all-female a cappella group at The George Washington University. From their bass-pumping altos to their operatic sopranos, they are a group of women bonded by their love and passion for song and performance! They take pride in arranging all of their songs and incorporating their various tastes and styles in to each note they sing. From contemporary pop and 90s hip hop, to indie rock and R&B ballads, the Sirens are truly dedicated to doing it all.
