Wildflower Girl
I've got dirt beneath my fingernails
And sunshine in my hair
I talk to roses like they're old friends
They never seem to care
The townsfolk think I'm a little strange
Dancing with the bees
But every living thing deserves
A little tenderness
I'm just a wildflower girl
Growing where I'm planted
Taking nothing for granted
In this beautiful world
Roots down deep but reaching for the sky
A wildflower girl am I
If you're feeling lost and lonely
Step inside my shop
I'll make a bouquet of understanding
Kindness never stops
Some flowers bloom in summer sun
Some need the rain to grow
But every heart can blossom
With a little love, I know
