No marble arch no gilded hall
Yet trust builds deeper than them all;
Each promise laid each silence kept
Becomes the stone where peace has slept
No architect with line or rule
Designs this work of gentle school;
Each act of faith each open hand
Creates the ground where hearts can stand
The walls are built through time and care
The ceiling formed from love’s repair;
The floor is grace the air is kind
The whole cathedral lives in mind
No quake destroys no age corrodes
It grows along the soul’s own roads;
For trust though quiet holds the frame—
Of every vow that love became
