Red fades fragrance thins
autumn chills the bed
Silk gowns undone
I sail alone afraid
Who sends this letter from clouds overhead
Swans fly in pairs
I wait by moonlight swayed
Flowers fall water flows
one longing two souls torn
One heart one pain
this thoughts can't be outworn
No way to ease no way to rest
Just autumn’s sigh deep in my chest
Wind shakes the leaves dusk veils the lonely tower
Washed tears faint rouge
who sees the fading hour
Lute strings hum low a tune of wasted flower
Years flow like streams
love stands though seasons glower
Flowers fall water flows
one longing two souls torn
One heart one pain
this thoughts can't be outworn
No way to ease no way to rest
Just autumn’s sigh deep in my chest
From east to west from north to south
Time writes the vows on silent mouths
From spring to fall through day and night
Love burns in ash still still it’s bright
Flowers fall
water flows
One heart
one pain
No way to ease
no way to rest
Just autumn’s sigh
Just autumn’s sigh
