When I got up this morning, didn’ t seem to see, no change
Then I rode the bus to work into the same ol’ seat, no change
At coffee breaktime , spilled my cup again, no change
Had the same ol’ sub with the same ol’mate , no change
Sometimes I’m thinkin’ of a new life
But it never seems to be no change
Then I got my ass beaten up in a dead end street, no change
Seems like the neighbours don’ t like my racist speech , no shame
Got home alone, listened to the same record
Sleeped like every night in hollow dog
When I’ll get up next morning, Lord please bring me a change
Sometimes I’m thinkin’ of a new life
But it never seems to be no change
To pass the time I’m calling my friends, no change
Cause united together, we’re the no change gang, no change
Hang out together, getting drinking dregs
Looking for trouble as we think we’re a gang of no change
It’s hard to change bad habits
These habits will kill me
Wish I could be a smart boy
To fi nd real love and set me free
