Across the vast sky the Milky Way spills a night of crystal light
The jade mirror hangs its glow like water bathing mountains bright
I raise my cup the wind sweeps far—who dares to write such might
Heaven and Earth rejoice sharing this mortal moon tonight
Though a thousand miles divide our ways our hearts remain as one
Each smile a song of festive grace beneath the autumn sun
The moon may wane the moon may round—its fate with ours is spun
On this bright eve the long wind sings—our joy forever begun
