Two lanterns meet they share their gleam
Each brightens both each shapes the dream;
No flame is lost no shadow won
The merging glow becomes the sun
They do not fight for who should shine
Their light completes their tones align;
Each gleam reflects the other’s hue
Each radiance made twice as true
Through giving both are more than one
Through union less is left undone;
No dimming comes no self denied—
Light multiplied not simplified
When night surrounds and storms arise
Their glow survives through shared replies;
The art of light the wise discern—
To shine together each must burn
