Was a jolly happy soul

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

Right to the traffic cop;
直到撞到了交警叔叔
And only paused a moment

When he heard him holler "stop "

Had to hurry on his way
他急着赶路
But he waved goodbye sayin'"don't cry
但他没忘记挥手告别 说着别哭
