Namo Amitabha!
Namo Amitabha!
Sentient beings in the three realms and six paths suffer
Born from womb egg moisture or transformation lost in ignorance
Though forms vary Buddha-nature is the same—
Chanting His name we reach the other shore
Namo Amitabha!
Namo Amitabha!
Abstain from killing liberate life cultivate fields of blessing
Practice all virtues—heaven and earth widen
The Buddha’s call awakens three thousand realms
Relying on His vow we bloom as nine-grade lotuses
Namo Amitabha!
Namo Amitabha!
The sea of karma in the dusty world churns with turbidity
Yet the boat of compassion ferries all through faith and practice
A single chant unites all dharmas—
Flowers bloom to behold the Buddha eternal peace attained
Namo Amitabha!
Namo Amitabha!
A hundred years pass like a fleeting dream
The rain of Dharma nourishes Bodhi’s growth
Open the bright gate transcend the three realms
Free and at ease one with the bliss of Pure Land
Namo Amitabha!
Namo Amitabha!
The body is a tower of light
The mouth a lamp of Buddha’s name
The heart unfolds a nine-grade lotus—
Thus Pure Land’s virtues are fulfilled
Namo Amitabha!
Namo Amitabha!
