Water roared in endless sweep
Stone lay rooted in the deep
Did not move to chase the tide
Wisdom lived in quiet pride
Current pushed with mighty cry
Stone stayed patient let life fly
Strength arrived through deep restraint
Power held without complaint
Others drifted near and far
Stone became the river’s star
Not by force nor rigid edge
Only stillness made its pledge
Stand in flow without defeat
Rooted hearts cannot retreat
Strength is not in constant roam—
Some remain and that’s their home
