Blue stretched into eternity
soft warm undemanding
I walked toward it with unsteady conviction
It never rushed me
Past mistakes tugged at my sleeves;
the horizon ignored them
accepting me without interrogation
Forgiveness exists in distance
Every step rewrote a sentence I once believed permanent
Old fears loosened like undone knots
The horizon expanded
making room for the version of me that kept trying
When I arrived
it did not celebrate
It simply opened—
as if it always knew I’d get there someday
