I sailed through nights with waves like stone
With no one left with all unknown
But through the dark her eyes still burned
A lighthouse flame that never turned
She didnt steer she didnt shout
She let me learn the route about
Yet when I feared the edge of fall
Her light would rise above it all
No storm could drown what she had lit
No tide could pull my soul from it
Though winds were sharp and maps unclear
Her beacon made the silence near
And now I dock on foreign sand
Her eyes still guiding where I stand
The stars may shift the sea may bend
But shes the light that never ends
