Shadows reach across the floor
bridges joining light to dark;
they do not break they only bend
a testimony of the sun
We walk them without knowing
our feet aligned with mystery;
bridges cast by our own shape
teaching us we’re not alone
Even in the heaviest dusk
shadows still connect the ground;
their fragile spans of grey and black
are stronger than we guess
So honor bridges made of shade
they guide us where the eye is blind;
reminding every step we take
is part of something whole
