Chinese candidates are still getting quite low marks in speaking

明明有那么多雅思培训机构

但是中国考生的雅思口语和写作仍然在平均分五点五分以下

With this score you 're unlikely to get into a good university

Even if you can get into a university overseas having a speaking mark below five point five with mean

It's going to be quite difficult for you to deal with all these academic activities

So why is it difficult for most chinese candidates to get past six in oil speaking

首先就想来问一下

There are a lot of reasons

Why candidates aren't getting tting sixth in their speaking test

However for the vast majority

The reason has to do with their performance in part three of the exam

Candidates often know what they all be asked in part one and to of the exam

And can prepare for part three is entirely different as each examiner ask questions in part three

Differently and creates their own follow up questions

Which makes preparation by memorizing answers

Nearly impossible candidates need to be able to answer questions

Spontaneously before taking the exam

Every candidate should try to answer random questions

Without taking time to prepare answers

There is also an added level of difficulty in part three

Part one into questions are usually about the candidate

Where as part three three quesare more generalize candidates often can't formulate answers about general topics and try to talk about themselves in part three

The candidate should avoid talking directly about themselves

Ves or their family and friends

So that's where the problem lies in part three

It's very easy for chinese students to prepare for part one and two

Because you can memorize a lot of answers

But part three you can't memorize because a lot of the questions are random

However that same candidate might get a five point five

If they start making mistakes early on

And can't get back on track this often happens with candidates who are stressed

The candidates who don't do as well the second time around might start to think that the test scoring is getting harsher

Which isn't really the case they just had a bad exam

However there are so many people taking the test

That there are countless exams of this happening

So the rumour get started in reality

It is more likely that the candidates who take the test a second time do better as they are more prepared

Uncomfortable with the process

Now these candidates might take it at two test centors

And start to think that one test center is easier than the other

But the examiners are always travelling to different places

So the examiners that one test center are always different

So one test center isn't going to be any easier than another

So that's just a rumor

It's because candidates take the test

So often these days

If you do it again and again

Of course you have you good days and bad days

That's not about the test center over the examiners

而且如果你侥幸认为某一个考点会比另外的考点考官要更松一些

其实为了保证考试公平

考官都是流动的

所以很有可能你在北京碰到的考官

你在内蒙又会碰到

It's not about where you get tested it's how well you're prepared for it

Now we come to question three

Your accent a lot of students or candidates are worried about their accent or pronunciation

And some of them think iles is a cambridge test

So i need to practice british accent or they worried that their chinese accent were get in the way of them getting a good score

究竟是不是一定要为雅思练习英式发音呢

你的中式口音是否会影响你的得分呢

Practicing and accent can be helpful with pronunciation

It doesn't matter which accent you choose the more

You practice the better you will be there are many things to consider such as stress and rhythm meaning can be conveyed with pronunciation to afstress to a word can bring focus to that word adding stress to the wrong word

Though can convey the wrong meaning and confuse the listener

What matters most most is that cancandidodoesn't allow their native cent though can affect the understanding of words

Candidates with thicker accents can still get high scores of imppronunciation provided they can pronounce words clearly and use pronunciation to convey meaning

Now this is a piece of good news for those of you

Who are less confident about your accent

Like brett said

Even if you have faker accent you can still get very good score

甚至会去所谓预测题目

然后告诉你碰到这一题你就按模板这样去答

所以被模板是很多人的这个杀手锏

也是救生圈

But is it as effective as you think memorizing model answers will only help a little

This is provided that the answer is actually a good answer

There are plenty examples of model answers from schools

That would only teach the improper use of english

Using these answers will actually give you a worse score

What candidates need to do is focus on making their own answers

Model answers will help candidates get the lish

That that go beyond

That candidates need to be comfortable preparing their own answers

That that way

When taking the exam no matter what questions asked

They will be able to make an answer examiners give thousands of exams every year

And when they hear candidates using model answers

They remember them

And the candidates will not get a good mark for those answers

First of all the answer is no

Is not going to significantly improve your eyes speaking score as breadt said will only give you the basics

And i shared those model answers with some of my examiner friends

And they were telling me that they will not give it even a six

So if your model answers a bad

That would actually lead to an even lower score

不管你是什么样的模板

只要中国还有别的人还在背这种模板

他就已经见过了

And this gives a very bad impression

The only way to do

It is to prepare for the answer

But to prepare with your own story and your unique perspective
