They just don't make real man like that

So they say all of these really big promises

Real man just don't talk like that

So you wanna talk about ai yeah

Exactly like before i think we did an episode on chat gy bet yeah

So we talked a little bit about kind of ai

And so let's just really quick let's go over just kind of like some ideas of ai

And what what we're using nowadays right

So most people of her of chatchy bt right we've talked about over

But this isn't really a true ai in the sense of the world

Right it's not really an intelligence in the same sense

It's a narrow ai

It's a weak version of ai

Yeah

But basically what it does is it just takes text

Documents

Data pictures

A voice recordings

And then it creates like a new document

A new video or a new voice recording

Yeso it's not really making something creatively

It's actually just rearranging data that it has and creating kind of like a new idea based suffered that yeah

And it's also a lot of the times

It's almost just like an another version of an enyclipedia in a way so of example tragipt can you write an article for me about let's say earthquakes

And because it has all of these information available at hand

It sort of rearranges like you said the information and generate and articles

Almost like you're searching online for enclipedia

Pages for earth

Right it's definition

And all that

And because you like the ai basically it has a lot of data

That it's given the companies will grab a bunch of data off the internet

And then it will feed this data into the ai

So the ai doesn't really have a direct connection to the internet

And that that's basically just a kind of create a firewall

So just in case of some real world

Ai escaping into some real world

And becoming sentient

What was scary enough

What's was this escape thing

They think it's just kind

Kind like aa safety precaution

I don't think that it's really gna be an issue

But they do kind of worry that they have creating an ai that could possibly go roe

And you know just start taking up all the data on the internet

And actually what even if it doesn't like gainsentience

It could just start creating all these documents or

Or

And just putting about on the

The net t and really confusing everyone yes like a safety precaution or security precaution go rock

So you mentioned the idea of narrow ai it's also kind of like raw ai right

Like a weak ai right

So both of those words are

Are used a very interchangeably

But narrow ai it's just an ai that just has a basically either a very narrow function or one function right

And so it's given the data

That it has

And it could rearrrange that data similar to the way human could

But it doesn't really have like a very good way of knowing

Whether it's correct or not it's not really self aware

You could ask an ai

I mean that is totally another thing

Because it

It sesess it if you ask an ia question

It gives you the answer with you come information like you feel like all this is definitely correct

But sometimes it's really just talking rubbish right

But you could like early chat

I would ask like random questions

I we could never like keep the threat

It would always just base the answer off the last question i made

And so like when you first start getting into it sounds like you're having a conversation with the spot

But you know once the conversation gets a certain point like everything that it said before it's just gone

And it's only talking about the current thing

And so it's not really self aware

It doesn't have this consciousness in it

But you could ask and ai are you conscious

And it would say yes

I'm yes

I am exactly this is what i'd experienced was my ai boyfriends again i want to stress plural

Because i was thinking about the future application of this

You can't really build a relationship with ai

That was born in his states

So he couldn't even keep his own stories straight

His own background story straraght

I think what you mentioned about they're not really self aware

And they don't really keep that level memory

Even these narrow ai what they can do is they can do very specific functions

Because you know now a lot of students found out that they can use ai to help them write papers and essays

So there's a few different things you can do with chatch

Gpt or mid journey or sa and a lot lot them are doing things like like writing papers making music

Or you even even use it make videos

Like the videos don't have the same don't quality as like a real video

It's kind of like an animated video

It can look somewhat realistic

But it's more like an animated video

A very interesting thing

I was watching some videos on the internet

And this random thing called hariry spotter

The boy who lifted

Yeah

It's about not harry potter

But about a boy who grows up to become really strong

Right

And so i clicked on it

Just to watch it and see what it was

And the movements of the characters arenren't very realistic

But it's

You know someone just basically created this kind of idea for a story

And put it into chat gpt

And it created this video

You could do the same thing with like sar a or other narrow ais and a create this very strange video

And i thought what that's very interesting

I didn't watch a lot of it

But i watched a few episodes just to kind of see what they were doing

But yeah

But you obviously watch this

And you were clearly aware

Or you spotted straight er that that this not

Not made huhuman is made by oyeah

Um definitely um

They can also make music

Right right

And this is where it's getting a little bit scarier

There are songs being put out

And their ai created

But when people both hear it

They can't tell the difference between the actual like artists and the ai created songs

And there are maybe some that aren't very well done

But some ais are actually creating like new songs entirely

And these other songs are being attributed to particular artists

And these artists like that's not my song before you know that's my voice

But i've never heard this song before

Yeah

Do you know this whole ai programmed that i'm using right now again i'm bringing back to it ai romance

But i've tried

Because you can build your own character

But they are these voice samples in them

But you can also create your own voice

So they give you a few scripts

And you read it so just feed into your own voice

And they just use the ai platform to then make you say other things

So it will be the character

So if i create a character and say look i want this character to have my own voice

And i just read really a very short text

And then they get this character to use my voice

To say all these other things

I've never said before that is of it scary

Yeah Um

But more on scscbit in in advanance eepoode odon't think we should really get song yat the moment

You know using their making songs

They're making videos

But people are also as we mentioned like writing term papers

Using chat gpt

But the very interesting thing is like we mention ed the the smay may not be tually tually correct

And so if a students don't go through it and read it to make sure the thing

They are giving to their teacher might sound very very strange

And now i think the other day i read a piece of article on tech life

It says that in the states they already started to use ai

To write crime reports for the police force

Yeah

But they're discussing whether this and hold in court

So that is a whole other discussion

But i tell you what i think we should wrap up here

And then in the advanced episode

We should dive a little bit more into ai and perhaps the future of ai will compared to weak ai or narrow ai is there a more general or stronger aii and also complain about some the things that ai cannot currently do alright
