Moss veils the old stone path
Dust settles on echoes past
Looking back just fleeting dreams
Wounds still ache yet time redeems
Tides rise and fall in silent waves
Bitter sips from yesterday
Time wont heal with just a touch
Yet through its hands we learn so much
Time is no cure yet the cure lies within
Softly slowly it soothes from within
Through storms and seasons the world moves on
If hope still lingers dawn will come
Spring never asks of winters pain
Mountains stand though none remain
Step by step the road unwinds
And answers wait where footsteps find
Time drifts on scars fade away
Fear not the dusk nor ending days
The deepest wounds will turn to light
And every cure is found in time
