Where white cranes circle calm and wide
She watches time yet does not chide
Her back is bent her gaze is free
Shes learned the stillness of the sea
She speaks no more of dreams once bright
But offers tea in morning light
A ritual in breath and dust
To say Im here in whom you trust
Her voice is now the rustling tree
The hush before eternity
And though she walks with careful care
She leaves her grace in thinner air
So when the cranes return at dusk
And skies are gold with fading musk
Ill know shes near with silent wings
In every ending love still sings
