作词:Nick Yang
Another morning, same old ceiling,
why should I ever go back to that world?
Laughter echoes down the stairs,
I walk past faces I don't know at all.
Backpack heavy, and so is my heart,
Every day I hide behind my mask.
Counting hours, counting scars,
Make friends with the moon and stars.
I hide my soul behind so many faces,
You told me that's the curse of travellers like us.
But I found a light behind the screen,
Somewhere I could actually start to breathe.
It was more than just cheap thrills,
It's more than a game.
Hop on and stay with me till the end of the ride.
When I'm stuck between two worlds,
This is the place I call home.
Looking up at contrails, counting distance from home
Days are passing faster than I thought.
People shouting, and colors flew,
What's in my dream now felt somehow true.
Someday I see strangers, they are travellers like me
All we had to do was go along
you said we are alone, now I say we are not.
This world is big enough for us to dwell.
I hid my soul behind so many masks,
now I will tell you they are parts of me
'Cause I found a light beyond the screen,
Somewhere I could finally see the truth.
It was more than just silly joys,
It's more than a game.
Every night there's someone waiting for me to come.
When the worlds all looked away,
I have a place to go back.
So here's my story, a traveler between worlds
Hope one day I can see you somewhere here.
Holding your hands, I just wanna say,
Sometimes all it takes is to start
One game
