Autumn's sighs through forests swift
Leaves fall like rain to dust they drift
Silent hills where plants grow thin
A lone red hue like an old friend within
Burning in the west wind's tender spin
Chilled by frost branches sparsely cast
A thousand leaves like flames who waits fast
Could it be knowing my return's late
They fiercely burn as summer's fate
Alone in cold a love unsaid it's cast
Silent mountains leaves with meaning fall
Eternity yet deep affection calls
Human gatherings like clouds they pass
Only that red leaf till dusk it lasts
Not turned to soil by the cold wind's might
A tree of deep red for one marks the night
Autumn fades as cold comes in
In this world's depth a lingering thought within
