A lone shadow crosses the endless sky
Fading smoke drifts where horizons lie
Chilled winds ripple the autumns still air
Flying to and fro by fates unseen care
Even the clouds though boundless and high
Remain untouched by the worlds heavy sigh
They say life is seldom complete
Unlike the lone bird where heavens meet
Circling low it cries again
For whom does it sing its tale of pain
