与好友共度欢乐时光
I love and shall until I die

For idleness
盖因闲暇
Is chief mistress
乃主宰一切
Of vices Both
谈及两种恶习
Then who can say
谁又能断言呢
But mirth and play
唯有欢愉与嬉戏
Is best of all
乃是人间至乐
Company with honesty
与正直为伴
Is virtue vice to flee
是美德，令恶习远遁
Company is good and ill
结伴有善恶之分
But every man has his free will
然人人皆有自由意志
The best ensue
至善随之而来
The worst eschew
邪恶将被摒弃
My mind shall be
我的心念将是
Virtue to use
奉行美德
Vice to refuse
摒弃恶行
Thus shall I use me
我将如此运用自身
