A single inhale binds the spheres
Through galaxies of joy and tears;
Each life a note each death a rest
Each silence part of cosmic chest
The breath moves out the breath comes in
A song unbroken still within;
The universe through rhythm grows
Each pulse a seed each wind that blows
No wall divides no gulf remains
Through every loss connection gains;
The same air fills both grave and birth—
The same breath moves through all of earth
I breathe the stars they breathe me too
Through time through dust through morning dew;
The space between though vast though curled—
Is but the breath between two worlds
