嗯嗯
嗯
dust on the window sill i found an old photograph
we were only ten years old trying hard not to laugh
cardboard stars and paper crowns we ruled the backyard
when did crossing the street get so incredibly hard
the calendar flipped the colors turned to grey
i'm in my twenties now pretending i'm okay
but i'm losing the map that i drew as a child
lost in a forest that's no longer wild
they say growing up was a beautiful ride
but they never mention the tears that you hide
oh heavy is the head that wears a paper crown
i'm just a terrified kid in a grown up town
yeah the fairy tales lie to me
this isn't how it's supposed to be
coffee cups and overdue bills on the kitchen floor
i don't even know what i'm running towards anymore
used to wish on shooting stars now i wish for some sleep
the puddles we jumped in are suddenly way too deep
they say growing up was a beautiful ride
but they never mention the tears that you hide
oh heavy is the head that wears a paper crown
i'm just a terrified kid in a grown up town
yeah the fairy tales lie to me
this isn't how it's supposed to be
i wanna go back to the sandbox days
before my mind was a complicated maze somebody wake me up
somebody tell me how to take off this heavy armour
now 呜呜呜
啊
just a terrified kid
in a grown up town
