What a privilege to sacrifice
To adorn You with my praise
What an honour just to worship
To gaze upon Your face
And if my life was measured by a jar of costly oil
Then this is my prayer
Let me be broken before You
Pouring out all that I have
I’ll crown You with the fragrance of my love
It’s everything and less than You deserve
Only by Your grace I enter
To bring an offering
What could measure to Your kindness?
What have I that I can bring?
And if my life was worth the price
Of scars borne in Your hands
Then this is my prayer
There is none more worthy
None more beautiful
I give it all, cause I’ve searched and found
If a life of sacrifice is what Your heart desires
If to be an offering keeps me at Your feet
Then this is my prayer
