朝の光 (asa no hikari) — burns my eyes,
I’m late again, under golden skies.
油の雨 (abura no ame), dripping down,
Every shift feels like a battleground.
The fryer screams like my regrets,
The manager yells, I break in sweat.
I drop the bun, the cheese slides wrong,
I hear my failure in every song.
制服 (seifuku) smells like shame,
Every mistake, I whisper my name.
I bow my head, I can’t deny,
I’m the reason dreams can die.
Ore no sei da! (俺のせいだ!)
The grill still burns inside my heart!
Every meal I make falls apart!
Even when I smile, I feel the pain—
この涙 (kono namida), won’t wash the stain.
Golden arches, glowing bright,
照らす (terasu) the ruins of my fight.
I can’t escape, I can’t restart…
It’s all my fault — I burned the stars.
The fryer hums a lonely song,
Been standing here for far too long.
“いらっしゃいませ…” (irasshaimase…) echoes in the air,
But no one knows I’m barely there.
Ore no sei da! I scream again!
Even when I try, it’s still in vain!
The scent of grease, the sound of time—
永遠 (eien) feels like overtime.
The lights go out, I stand alone,
My shadow cast on fryer stone.
And through the smoke, I softly call…
“Ore no sei da…” — after all.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll make it right,
But tonight… I burn under neon light.
